The Fun is almost over!

Spring Break is almost over...  really wished I could have done fun things with my kids.  But due to my situation with my knee.  I wasn't able to do the things I wanted.  But we made the best of it.  I only had my girls to try and keep busy.  Because my 14 year old son Dominick went to Panama City Florida with his friend Justin & his family.  We didn't have a problem with him going because we trusted the family he was going with.  He text me several pics of the hotel they stayed at.. and the pics of the beach.. I was so jealous!

Picture from the balcony of the resort my son stayed at..... Beautiful!

So hopefully next Spring Break I will make it up to my girls and take them to a place that would be worth going to for a week.  We own timeshare, so we will have to put it to use!

Me and my girls highlight was going fishing.. LOL!  I am so lucky I have girls that love to fish, but we only really like fishing for TROUT.  And that is the only kind of fish I will eat.  But we got up early at 4 a.m. to go fishing to a natural spring about a hour a way.  We got there and got our daily permits.  And we just had a good time.  We only caught 2 trout....  but we enjoyed being outside.  I enjoyed watching my daughter Olivia and her friend Jessie.  She is growing up so much.  And on the way home.. they sang songs and it was just so fun to be with them.  I am thankful that my daughter Olivia has good friends.

My kids are just growing up so fast!

UPDATE on my knee:

I have been going to Physical Therapy 2 times a week and it has been helping alot.  I get really sore from the exercises they make me do... but it is all worth it.  I really can't wait for it to get strong enough to be back on my feet.

I am not able to put full weight on my knee yet... because of the micro fracture surgery that they had to do on the cartilege in my knee...  they found some cartilege damaged and they repaired it by, drilling pits into it to make the bone bleed and that way the cartilege will form quicker.  So I feel pain in those area's.

But, getting stronger, and working it enough that I feel lots of progress... which is a good thing!  :)
My bandages finally came loose and my knee looks great....  they cut basicly the same area's as the first surgery.  It looks really good.  Happy with the results.  I thought I was going to have more scars due to them having to get the acl graft from my hamstring.   Still wearing leg brace to avoid doing any damage to the cartilege.
